Cadmandu TPM is
AutoMate's 32 bit, modular designed, Engineering Document Management and Viewing solution
for both large and small scale networked environments. Cadmandu is completely user
configurable and includes AutoMate's Total Project Management (TPM) and Data Exchange
Interface (DEI) technologies. TPM features
include ftp and tcp/ip compatibility with all WAN, LAN and internet/intranet environments
and powerful project based configurability with ECN driven workflow/routing. DEI
manages both AutoCAD block attributes and MicroStation text tags and reference files.
Cadmandu SecureCAD Edition is
AutoMate’s state-of-the-art solution for managing and viewing documents in a truly
secure environment. Files always remain in their native format, in traditional server
directory folders, secured by your network permissions and privileges. Typically, these
folders would not be available to anyone but designated administrators.
Cadmandu’s SecureCAD technology allows designated users access to these files and
documents even though they cannot browse the network to find them! This is
accomplished by a unique integrated function that is enabled when a request is made to
retrieve or place a file. Since the file folders are ordinarily not accessible by the
user, SecureCAD takes over, with the ability to login to your network as a special or
designated user with the required access privileges. Once the file transfer is complete,
the SecureCAD function log’s itself out and waits for the next request.
Other features and standards...
Cadmandu's database is the industry standard, Microsoft Access, with an optional ODBC
module for client server environments. Check-In and Check-Out supports both in-transit
mode as well as remote-location checkout for off-site and scheduled file transfers.
Cadmandu can support secure server and proxy servers for your Internet and Intranet
environments.
Viewing support include over 200 vector (DGN, R2000-DWG,
PRT, etc.), raster and general image formats, integrated redlining, batch printing and
plotting, file conversion (export) and bird's eye view.
Additional features include integrated TWAIN compliant
scanning and Manager Check-Out functions. Requires Windows NT4 (sp4),
2000 or XP. |
